Our Love Story
How we met
Our love story began in the digital age – on Hinge! After matching, we spent countless hours getting to know each other over FaceTime for a month before finally meeting in person. It didn’t take long to realize we had something special, and just three weeks after our first meeting, we officially started dating.
For two years, we made the two-hour drive to each other’s places every single weekend, proving that distance was no match for love. Our commitment and dedication only brought us closer, and before we knew it, we were engaged!
Now, we’re living our happily-ever-after together with our dog, Legend, who completes our little family. We’re so excited to share this next chapter with all of you!
The Proposal
On a cold, windy day in Charlevoix, Michigan, with Lake Michigan stretching before us, we walked together on an icy pier. It was a bone-chilling -10°, the wind biting at our cheeks, but there we were, hand in hand, along with our loyal companion, Legend, our black lab, who somehow knew this moment was more than just a walk. Suddenly, Harrison, usually so calm, grew nervous. He looked at Marissa e and asked, "Will you walk on this ice with me—for the rest of your life?" Marissa glanced away, then looked back to find Harrison on one knee, holding out a ring. In that freezing, magical moment, everything faded away except for us and the promise he was making. Without hesitation, Marissa's heart answered, “Yes.”
